Courtney Cox has shared her regret at “putting things in my face” as she admitted she’s been “trying to chase youthfulness” for years.

The 57-year-old actress opened up about the moment she realized how “weird” her face looked after the injection.

she said The Sunday Times’ style Magazine: “There was a time when you were like, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I look older.’ And I’ve been trying to chase it [youthfulness] for years.

“And I didn’t realize that, oh shit, I look really weird with injections and do things to my face that I would never do now.”

Cox, the mother of 17-year-old daughter Coco, added: “Because people were talking about me I think. But there was a time when I was like, ‘I have to stop. This is just crazy.’”

Elsewhere in the interview, she said she “can’t believe” that she’ll be 60 in a few years because “time flies so quickly.”

the friends star noted that while there’s “nothing wrong” with reaching the milestone age, it’s still “so hard to even hear or say it.”

She described herself as “more down to earth” now and has “learned so much in my life.”

The actress – who rose to fame in the 1990s with the iconic role of Monica Geller – has previously wished she had never tried to turn back the clock on beauty.

In 2017 she told new beauty that she had decided to dissolve all her fillers to look more natural.

expanding their decision in 2019 People magazine, she said, “I would say it’s a common thing that you go through as you get older, especially in Hollywood.

“You have to accept getting older and that’s something I’ve found difficult. [I tried] keeping up with the times in a way that was anything but maintenance.

“I didn’t realize it until one day I kind of stepped back and said, ‘Oh shit. I don’t look like myself.’”
