Robert P. McCulloch bought London Bridge from the City of London Corporation in 1968. Three years later, the rebuilding of London Bridge in Lake Havasu City was completed and inaugurated in 1971. Please join us in celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the completion and inauguration of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City in October. We commemorate the past 50 years of honored traditions through joint efforts by the city, local businesses, organizations and the citizens and pioneers of our community.

Join us on the stage under London Bridge on Thursday, October 28th at 4:00 p.m. to celebrate the inauguration of the city’s Golden Jubilee. This event will honor Robert P. McCulloch and showcase dignitaries from the state of Arizona and London. The London Bridge Days Parade takes place on Saturday October 30th at 10:00 AM. The parade will be followed in the evening by a gala dinner hosted by Mayor Cal Sheehy at 5.30pm at the London Bridge Resort. Tickets for the gala dinner can be purchased at londonbridgeresort.ticketspice.com/london-bridge-50th-anniversary-. Gala dinner.

Mayor Cal Sheehy is pleased to welcome all citizens, pioneers, visitors and dignitaries to Lake Havasu City for the London Bridge Golden Jubilee.

“We can’t wait to celebrate London Bridge! We can all look forward to this celebration and enjoy it, ”said Mayor Cal Sheehy. “This major milestone is about celebrating the unique character and story that makes our community the best. We hope that everyone will take part in the celebrations and have a great experience. “
